ABB launches ReliaHome™ Load Centers to simplify residential energy solutions

ABB has launched its new ReliaHome™ Load Centers, marking a rebrand of its residential energy portfolio following its 2018 acquisition of GE’s Industrial Solutions. These load centres simplify installation for contractors and ease stocking for distributors. ABB has achieved this through a plug-on neutral design, universal circuit breakers, and their ReliaLock™ technology.

ReliaHome™ products are available across the US, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean. They offer various installer-friendly features, such as elevated neutral bars and rust-resistant enclosures, ensuring durability in harsh environments. This technology supports faster decarbonisation, while contributing to more reliable and sustainable energy management in homes.

Adam Mease, Business Line Leader Energy Distribution NEMA at ABB’s Electrification Smart Buildings Division, commented:

“Our commitment to electrifying the future of housing and driving the energy transition in residential markets is reflected by our focus on innovation and technological investments. These advancements, backed by more than 130 years of electrical expertise and a dedicated residential team, provide homebuilders, contractors, and distributors with the latest technology for reliable energy distribution in homes, helping them complete projects on time and within budget.”

ABB continues to invest in smart energy management, co-developing sustainable technologies with plans to launch the ReliaHome Smart Panel in 2024. With this launch, ABB strengthens its role in delivering advanced, sustainable home energy solutions.
